Are Head Lice a reportable communicable disease? No Head Lice are not actually a disease or a health problem.  Head Lice do not impact your health and do not carry disease.  There is, however, a strong social “stigma” associated with Head Lice.  Lice treatment and Lice treatment removal are often controversial.  Many mothers do not want to use toxic chemicals on their kids heads.  Many lice treatments don’t work.

    Aw, this was a eally nice post. Taking a feew minutes and actual effort
    to create a really good article… but what can I say… I procrrastinate a whole
    lot and never manage to gett nearly anything done.

      Head Lice is not a reportable disease according to CDC guidelines. Let’s remember Head Lice do not carry any disease and should not be considered a public health problem. The problem is that most people are completely confused about how to effectively prevent, detect, and treat head lice
